The Not Bucket list Journey – What is a ‘not bucket list journey’? Why am I doing it?
Bucket lists are known as a list of things you want to do before you kick the bucket. Sounds a bit morbid right? Instead, let’s look at it as things to achieve in life. Goals that I would like to create memories from.
Since having mental health issues, my memory is a bit of a sieve. I often find it hard to remember the good things, achievements and memories I have made. How better to tackle it than to record my experiences and save them in time on Youtube?
My aim of the ‘Not Bucket List Journey’ is to document my experiences and memories as I battle and improve my mental health. By making and uploading videos, it allows me to look back and see what I have achieved in my Journey and how far I have come.
I will be starting the Not Bucket List on January 1st 2021, creating a time capsule with a note from day 1 and adding to it along the way of my journey. After a year I want to look back at my journey and see what memories I have created and how far I have come.
Below I have added my ‘Not Bucket List’ list and will cross them off as I go. These are just a starter, with my plan to complete at least 1 every month. Along the way I will also add more to my list as ideas come to mind. Who knows where we may end up.
